MWM Cogenerators, excellence from Intergen to the ceramics industry

Lomagna (LC), July 2015 – Since 1987, Intergen is the exclusive distributor of MWM engines for Italy, the German brand founded in 1871 and one of the global leaders in the production of static engines for industrial use, fueled by natural gas and biogas. Intergen is therefore able to provide a full premium range of engines and cogenerators from 400 to 4,300 kWe.

The most powerful model, MWM TCG2032 V16 of 4300 kWe, is the flagship of the product range and it is the ideal solution for the ceramics sector. In addition to a very high mechanical efficiency and an electrical efficiency equal to 43.8%, this engine has a very temperature of released exhaust gases (456 °), 25% higher than its main competitors. This feature is a key advantage in those applications where it is necessary to recover heat at high temperature, for example for the production of steam under pressure .
